Description

EFN MOOC 3: This course provides 6 lessons aiming to make the learner understand the Nurses EU Challenges with specific attention to health inequalities and nursing liability, as the profession is advancing and changing, followed by nurses’ important role in coaching public health to build resilient healthcare systems. It will focus on the European Social Semester process and the European Pillar of Social Rights into action. The course also provides an overview on EU key political topics (as “The EU, what is in for me?”, “My private life – Love nursing!”, “Rhetoric into action”) and on how to address those issues (i.e., “Be part on building the EU”, “Give my job back you took away in 2009”, “Access to healthcare”).

This online course is aimed at all ‘lifelong learners’, especially frontline nurses, and is intended as an advanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course. Technical background knowledge is not needed for this course. Participants are expected to spend 1 to 2 hours through the instructional course.

Certification

At the end of each lesson, the participants will have to answer some questions to test the knowledge acquired. If 90% of good answers is reached, the participants get a Certificate of completion of the course.
