An introduction to EFN
Welcome to UHasselt’s special Nursing course module, consisting of 6 comprehensive lessons. Our goal is to offer students a thorough understanding of the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN), its significance within the European Union (EU), and the nuances of the EFN Governance structure pivotal to achieving effective lobby outcomes. Delve into specific legislative topics that the EFN has championed over the years. If you’re new to the world of EFN, this course will enlighten you about the European Pillar of Social Rights and EFN’s impact on certain Pillar initiatives. Additionally, we will explore various EU projects where the EFN plays a crucial role as an end-user and shed light on the evolution of the European Nursing Research Foundation (ENRF).
Designed primarily for frontline nurses who are lifelong learners, this module is also particularly beneficial for passionate UHasselt students. You do not require any technical background to grasp the course’s content. We estimate that participants will invest 1 to 2 hours in this enriching educational journey.
At the end of each lesson, the participants will have to answer some questions to test the knowledge acquired. If 75% of good answers is reached, the participants get a Certificate of completion of the course.
