EFN MOOC 4: This course provides 7 lessons which focus on Research and Innovation with specific attention on “Nurses Driving innovation”, on the European Nursing Research Foundation (ENRF) and on the EU funds for research. It aims to shed the light on important research topics, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic, expanding on the “Planetary Health” research topic from nursing perspective. The learner will get knowledge on EFN experiences within EU projects, with specific focus on Horizon 2020 and the new 2021-2027 Horizon Europe, on how to write EU projects and lead them, what is a good proposal and its related evaluation criteria, and the different stages of the submission process. 

This online course is aimed at all ‘lifelong learners’, especially frontline nurses, and is intended as an advanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course. Technical background knowledge is not needed for this course. Participants are expected to spend 1 to 2 hours through the instructional course. 

Certification

At the end of each lesson, the participants will have to answer some questions to test the knowledge acquired. If 90% of good answers is reached, the participants get a Certificate of completion of the course.
