EFN MOOC 1: This course provides 8 lessons to give a clear definition of EFN, its role and position in the European Union explaining the EU functioning, EU legislation and EU Institutions that EFN influences. The course provides information on the most relevant EU Agencies for the nursing profession, such as ECDC, EMA, OSHA, EUROFOUND, and focuses on the important role of the European ombudswomen. It also provides more insights into how EU laws are made, and the ones in which the EFN has been involved, finalising the EU legislation relevant for nurses and nursing in the EU and on the future of the European Union. 

This online course is aimed at all ‘lifelong learners’, especially frontline nurses, and  is intended as an advanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course. Technical background knowledge is not needed for this course. Participants are expected to spend 1 to 2 hours through the instructional course. 

Certification

At the end of each lesson, the participants will have to answer some questions to test the knowledge acquired. If 90% of good answers is reached, the participants get a Certificate of completion of the course.
